Here is our tentative agenda:
Day 1 (10am to Noon): Personal Taxation - we will be using
2011 tax organizers for 1040s, so bring your tax documents with you if you can and complete everything while you are here.
Day 1 (1pm to 3pm): Partnership Taxation - we will be using the Boss 1065 tax organizers to cover everything from partnership income and capital accounts to deductions taken at the partnership level and how to read a K-1.
Day 2 (10am to Noon): Corporate Taxation - how to properly account for your business and maximize deductions. We will be using a sample tax organizer to cover major deductions, how to account for transactions with LLCs and Limited Partnerships, how to keep a balance sheet and profit and loss statement, and how corporations are taxed.
Day 2 (1pm to 3pm): Tax law changes in 2011 and 2012. What issues you need to be aware of and how those changes will impact you and your business. There will be a comprehensive Q & A session and our Boss accountants will be available for private consultations.
Before and After the Event on Both Days: Feel free to book a time to meet with a Boss accountant and make sure you are maximizing your business structure.
